Designed and engineered in the U.S.A. to meet the needs of the demanding mobile data storage market, the ROCPORT ID 2.5” external hard drive is compatible with both Windows® and Macintosh® environments.

ROCPORT ID - Like other Rocstor products, ROCPORT ID drives are both bus-powered and bootable. The new ROCPORT ID pocket drives contain a fast, high capacity 2.5” SATA drive mechanism, with up to 800 MB/sec transfer speeds and multiple interfaces.

Sophisticated users will appreciate the ROCPORT ID innovative design, feel, quality and features. A combination of ports, FireWire 800 (1394b IEEE), FireWire 400 (1394a IEEE) and High Speed USB 2.0, make this triple-interface device one of the most versatile drives in the market today. For extra flexibility, an optional cable can connect the FireWire 800 port to any FireWire 400 (1394a IEEE) port in any Mac or PC.  
The anti-shock chamber and shock-absorbent casing protect the drive against impact damage and accidental drops and bumps to prolong product life and protect data integrity. The wide array of ports ensures maximum compatibility regardless of the type of computer or operating system in use.  

Wide Range of Applications
Operating with Mac OS, Linux® and Windows®, this external drive offers storage capacities ranging from 250GB to 500GB as well as “plug-and-play” capability. Users can quickly archive or back up valuable data, large video files and digital photo collections. The bootable feature allows the user to boot, access and operate all programs and data via any other computer under the same OS environment.
